A selection of moments from an early rehearsal with dancers in which the act of listening to a drone meditation as well as one another's heartbeats becomes the catalyst for movement, beatmaking, voicework and sound. The sound that is created is based on bodily rhythms and the imagination, which in turn gets translated into movement. This movement is then sent to producers who further the act of translation through music. The final track is an excerpt of one of the musical responses that was created in response to Dequan's Jellyfish movement.

This project looks at the connection between bodily rhythms and emotional states and explores the ways that these can be creatively translated through movement and music. In this rehearsal, a self-help style visualization called "The Rose Process" is the entry point into movement exploration and music production.  All music included in this video was created in response to movements from rehearsal.
